Wedding Photography for Shanlyn and Quade Fury

I had the pleasure to capture this special day. The wedding day goes so quickly. Wedding photography is so important in order to capture the special details that would otherwise be overlooked by the bride, groom, family, and friends. These details can be enjoyed through pictures and video for many years to come.

Shanlyn and Quade are such a beautiful couple. Their eyes sparkle when they look at one another. With a great sense of humor, faith-based foundation and wonderfully, huge hearts, these two will stand the test of time.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding was at the Assembly of God Church in Logan, NM at 4 pm with a reception to follow at the Logan Civic Center. Even though it was a warm August day, the heat didn’t get anybody down. The church was decorated with beautiful flowers. The bright colors of the wedding party were just gorgeous!

First, after the bridal party had walked down the aisle, there was an exchange of rings. Following next was an exchange of necklaces for their two little daughters. Then, a mixture of sand to symbolize the mixing of a new blended family. Surrounded by loving friends and family, Shanlyn and Quade exchanged their vows. Next, it was on to the reception hall and time to have a blast!

Reception

At the reception, it started with a full buffet, cooked and prepared by the mother of the bride. Also, there were several different dessert stations with each one containing surprises. The groom’s station had a chocolate groom’s cake. The wedding station had the bride and groom’s wedding cake, which was actually several different cheesecakes and they were fantastic! The third station was a candy station for their daughters, Shanmarie and Grace.

Finally, it was time for dancing. So much fun with everyone enjoying the bride and groom. Everything was absolutely perfect due to the work of the mother of the bride, Priscilla. It was absolutely beautiful!

We hired Elegant Pix for my 80th birthday party at Maggiano's in the Domain. Lachelle and her husband did a superb job taking both staged photos we sought and as well as numerous candid shots. We had a lot going on with a caricaturist, an MP4 video being played on a large screen, table games and lunch being served. They captured everything without being obtrusive. We have a great record for posterity which pleases me no end.
